I was looking through the rules and cannot see if there is an answer to my question: If my opponent rolls a crit and a hit, and I roll an evade do you remove the crit or the hit? Who decides which one gets removed?
Evade and crit rolls
You cancel [boom] results before you cancel [kaboom] results. The [boom] results also remove Shield tokens before [kaboom] results would leading to a greater chance that a face-up damage card (crit) is dealt.
This should be in the basic rules.

Cancel hits [boom] before cirticals [kaboom]. Once damage has exhausted your shields, you start dealing damage cards.
