So with the relatively new YT-2400 and the classic Old Millennium Falcon. Which on is the better of these, rules wise?
What do you think wins the most?
Dash or Han
2400 or 1300
I still feel like it is Han Solo
Dash or Han Solo?
Dash beats Han - Han beats whisper - whisper beats dash.
Circle of life bro
In my opinion, Han with Engine Upgrade is better. He moves after, and not being dependant on Push the limit keep his dial open. So, with some good guessing and blocking from escort, he can end up with some free 4 dice shot in the range 1 ring of Dash.
But come on! We're talking about Han here, he's the man! He made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs... Do you really expect Dash to compete?
i saw it go both ways yesterday, so its still up in the air

You do know dash beat hans record right? Just saying :-)
I think both are good. I see dash as more agile than Han and has some nifty tricks up his sleevses. Like barrel roll and able to pass through obsticles without any problems....you can use the astroids or scrap markes to great advantage.
That's because Han was fit and slim when he did it.
I think, pilot skill being equal, a fat Han has an advantage over dash. Han could routinely find himself in Dash's bubble and offers consistent damage to go with superior damage mitigation.
Dash is more fun. I wish Han played like Dash did rather than playing like an ISD shrugging off hits.
I'm going to go and design a PTL Falcon now.

Reference please.
What I do know is that when they raced, Han did beat Dash and, the Outrider has a class 0.75 hyperdrive while the Falcon is 0.5.

No mention of Dash.
But, my knowledge of the EU is limited so I'm not denying it could be true from some EU source I'm not aware of.

Yep, it's true.

"The smugglers escaped the Imperial ambush—breaking Solo's record for the Kessel Run in the process—but the secondary hyperdrive soon failed, leaving them stranded on the edge of Wild Space"
Edited by ExtropiaHan wins, because his ship is a half decent size for a freighter.
How's this for a list:
Han Solo 46
Chewbacca (crew) 4
Falcon title 1
Dash Rendar 36
Leebo (crew) 2
Mangler Cannon 4
Outrider(title) 5
Lone wolf 2
Use them both, with appropriate sidekicks and titles!
Why not just run both?

Interesting.
In which fiction did it happened?
Also, looking at the Kessel Run wiki entry I posted, it seems Solo beat his own record later with Luke (don't know in which fiction it happened)
So, if Dash beat Solo record in 0BBY but Solo later beat his own record with Luke (which can only happen after the battle of Yavin), the question is now, who beat it from a bigger margin? They both did broke the record later on.
Boy the EU can be a mess.... glad they got rid of it.

That's some huge heresy right there.

Alright, wait for it, I'm gonna be a troll here... not everything from the EU was good. In fact, I would consider a lot of it garbage. The death of Chewie was probably one of the best piece of litterature and in no way just there to boost sales. ![]()

It's how I want to die. Crushed by the Moon. :-D

That's the way we all want to die... so poetic...

Also it would take out the entire earth along with you. So that's a bonus. ![]()
No such thing as better as much as dependent on personal preference
If you want reliability and easily the most forgiving ship in the game, take Fat Han
If you want more of a challenge and really enjoy the maneuvering part of the game, take Dash
Dash with engine upgrade & PTL would be very hard to catch, and hard to stay out of the donut of death with a HLC
Han + predator + 3PO + R2D2 + title >> Dash w/any upgrades. 3 more HP, as good/better mitigation, consistent damage. 1v1 Han beats the pants off Dash.
If you are talking lists, then I think its harder. I think it depends on who gets more out of their wingmen. I still think most Han lists win there too, but it depends a lot on what Dash takes to go with.
Very true hida77.
Have gone 3-0 against Han lists with my cheapie dash build but I would be remiss if I left out corrans role in those games.
Only 1 of those 3 games did dash die and it was final turn, then corran finished Han to win the game.

Tell your buddy to go after Corran first, he should be looking for a Han vs Dash endgame (which he can win with engine).
Still good point, Han is slightly too expensive to pair with a kitted out Corran and i feel 3z95 isnt as strong as it used to be with all these super-ships flying around in wave5.
