anyone know any instructions to build the lego version?

The openings are all three by one stud. I don't think you need the smooth pieces shown. There is a better pic on the link bit no instructions. Just need some bricks and 3x1 slopes.

The first design didn't actually work, but a fixed OpenSCAD file is available with a CC-BY-NC-SA license. The link is in the OP of this shiny new thread I made .

Can you take it apart to show layers? I want to make a list of bricks needed.

however like any Lego creation there are heaps of ways of making it, and i made mine to the Lego bricks i could find

for example if you did not want the grey stripes you could have a more interconnected build that would be stronger. overlaying bricks are better than towers of the same pic
