I have got the original version of this game knocking about somewhere in the loft ... are there many differences between the original and this version?

just curious in case the expansions do become available sometime in the future .. as i never got round to buying them last time

Stick to the old version, hunt for the ring, err, I mean expansions off Ebay if you like the game.
