Thanks, mate! Sorry, I must've missed this post. My stuff's a mix of .03" (nominal 1/32"), .06" (nominal 1/16"), and a wee bit of .12" (nominal 1/8") acrylic. I use the 1/32" for detail plates and wings mostly, and the 1/16" (1.5mm) is in fact my workhorse material, like you guessed.

Oh, and geez, that's actually really high praise! That armored YT mod you did is still my favorite YT out there. Absolutely awesome.

Heh, I build the ships that are too weird and obscure for FFG to ever produce. The TIE Scout might actually have a chance of being officially made.

Your skill with getting this model done is fantastic, no doubt about it. A shame the design itself is so boring and uninspired. Great work on your part though!

Big Well Done, Acrylic isn't the most forgiving of plastics to work with....I prefer poly carbonate myself, more forgiving but more expensive.
So again great job on the fact you made it with Acrylic.
you can soon tell how good a model is when you hit it with the first coat of primer....brings it to life.
But your paint job is First Rate. you have really done your Scratch Building justice.
