I'm looking forward to last one too . It would be nice to see some update at least what their projected time line is. Were they thinking every 6 months, 1 a year?

If i had one complaint it is the character creation and the voting. My players all agreed to just show hands and they all just voted to boost everyone's characteristic.

The game is balanced so that they have to take additional bad features. If they are intentionally just trying to boost their stats just to metagame then make sure the bad features they pick will trigger a lot. Don't let them use something that won't come up a lot. It doesn't matter how good a players stat is if all their positive dice get canceled.

Yeah they all just took a extra negative or they cancelled out their positive feature. I'm going to be going over the character sheets again to review and make sure they were filled out correctly.

The voting mechanic is a interesting mechanic but the players didnt feel the need for them to be secret and a show of hands was quicker. My first session was 9 players it was rather extravagant and there were only a few of us that actually really knew each other to gauge what they thought would be correct. If we would have done it in secret it would have taken over an hour just to vote.

Doing the vote secretly allows for a greater likelihood that players will vote for mixing things. I agree however the secret vote using dice is way too long.

I had each players going around, and each describe him/herself and justify the point allocation to his/her characteristics (after all, I don't know them all that well) and the features. One a player is done, all players (including myself) write on a piece of paper:

Player 1: P +, M -, S = (or whatever your vote is)

and we repeat for the next player. At the end, I take 5 min to go around again and give the total results to each player.

I however don't have 9 players... that's a lot!
