Of Black Holds and Ghost Ships

By Bluegrass2, in Rogue Trader

Howdy,

I just had a quick question or the forum community: Are you planning on using any of the antagonist from some of the Dark Heresy books in their campaign? And do you think they'd be an appropriate level for a Rogue Trader crew? There seem to be a lot of thematically appropriate enemies in there -- everything from the Hull-Gheist and other threats of the Black Holds to the Eye of the Warp and other threats. Think how much harder a salvage Endeavor becomes when the crew is suddenly attacked by a Bronze Malifect in a med bay..... Or how much more haunting a ship becomes when there are pings on a motion detector without the PCs knowing whether or not it's a false contact or a Genestealer....

Thanks,

Bluegrass

Oh yea totally, the Eye of the Abyss and it's Daemonic Amunition are begging to be stuck in a RT adventure. Any warp beasties llike the Astral Spectres/hounds, foul heretics and of course things like the Orks, Eldar and Genestealers in CA. The games designed to be compatible with DH so I don't think any of us GM will bat an eye at raiding the huge wealth of adversies published already.

Rogue Trader is a spin off of DH of course some things are going in and im sure that things from RT will show up in DH eventualy even when Deathwatch comes out though will mingle to you will just have space marines in the mix.

Um, what? Excuse me? Is this a hope or fact? My heart nearly stopped from the potential coolness!

ThenDoctor is indeed right. When FFS took the license back up they also promised to fulfill the original idea of three games: Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, and Deathwatch.

Sadly Deathwatch won't see the light of day for another year or 2 yet, but rest assured it IS coming.

Now... any news on that Forsaken Bounty PDF yet!?

It can take it's time as far as I'm concerned, not a fan of the pampered demi-gods of the setting, but then again no one is making me plunk down $55+ in advance for the line so I can't really complain either.

And yes, are we going to see the Forsaken Bounty PDF this week or the next? lengua.gif
