Out of Print expansions - What Lies Ahead

By dredgman, in Android: Netrunner The Card Game

I'm a bit late to the Netrunner party, and I've been picking up the expansions here and there. Imagine my surprise to find What Lies Ahead going for $299 on Amazon. What is the deal here?

Is it out of print? Does FFG plan to reprint any expansion packs?

Yes, if you go to the Netrunner products page for that cycle , you'll see they are listed as "available soon." On the Upcoming page , though, they are still shown on the boat. But yes, they should be out in a bit.

299 dollareedoos? This prooves my theory that some people on amazon don't understand price/demand/value or how money works.

More proves the "There's a sucker born every minute" theory.

That reminds me, I still got to mail my x-wing miniatures to Nigeria. There's this prince who wil pay me 419$ for just a few models. :D

I was hunting around for this online as well and thought that was funny. I can wait. I did find it on some random game shop. I ordered it, went thru, then a day later they cancelled my order. I assume they didn't realize they were out of stock.

On a side note about morons buying stuff online - I bought 2 of the newest Dragon Ball Z blue ray Season 9. It comes with a promo card, but they have been hard to find. I rolled the dice on 2 off Amazon. They both had the card. I paid $50 total for both. Opened 1 and took the card for my collection. Sold the sealed one for $55, and then just the blue ray opened other one for $24. So I got paid to get the promo - which is just an alt art card anyway. People are funny.

Thanks for the link to the products page. Good to know that they will (hopefully) print more. What lies ahead seems to be one of the better expansions.
