I made these a while back. They are carved acrylic.
The bit I used though wasn't 'pointy' enough so it didn't come out nearly as clean as I wanted it to. I'm getting ready to make a better set, but that leads me to my question:
Does anyone have exact sizes that these templates are supposed to be? The straights and turns are easy, but it's the banks I'm having problems with. They seem to vary slightly (a few mm's) even starter kit to starter kit.
I thought about using vassal's templates. The straights and turns are spot on with my cardboard ones, but the banks are shorter by a smidge.
At the end of the day, I guess it really doesn't matter a whole lot. Even FFG says to use one set of templates for consistency..... but it sure bothers me!
