I'm trying to create a series of cinematic crawls for my campaign. Specifically, I want to start each gaming session with one that I show the players to get everyone in the mood. The offical one on starwars.com works ok... but I can't seem to save a custom crawl, forward it to Facebook, Email, or embed. No matter what I do, it just goes back to the default.

Are there other PC-based (I don't have an iOS or Android device) crawl creators out there that let you save the crawls as movie files? Alternatively, anyone seen a way to make a static "crawl" similar to what is in the rulebook?

Just Google Star Wars Crawl Creator. There Are Several That You Can Choose From.

You can use the one on the Star Wars site, just save your text in your editor of choice and copy and paste in as needed.

And any program you use to record a movie of your screen should work for creating something that can be shared somewhere else.

...and the simplest solution is the best. Sometime I get into a rut of doing things the hard way and never see the obvious choices.
