I haven't seen too much mention of Leia in other topics, but she is the core character I most want to see next. I've been reading a lot of Star Wars comics stories set in the years between episodes 4 and 5, and I'm always delighted when they give the Princess a chance to venture into dangerous places and kick butt. Having Luke, Han and Chewie available as allies but no Leia is kind of like having the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion but no Dorothy.

Enjoying the game tremendously thus far. Can't wait to see how it expands and unfolds.

I agree. Leia is awesome. Would love to see her in the game ASAP.

I can see actions that grant buffs, moves, action, focus. Maybe something like you have to spend a threat to target her with LOS so she's stymying the Imps even if she is not combat capable. Lots of possibilities.

The only issue I have with a Leia expansion is that, much like Luke, the sculpt will be the worst possible outfit - the dress from A New Hope.

I would much prefer the Cloud City outfit, or at least the more utilitatian outfit from Empire.

Luke got shafted with the horrid Tatooine Desert Garb.

They could have done the badass yellow jacket from the Award ceremony. Sigh.

He's apparently supposed to be inspiring. Running around in pajamas does not fill me with confidence. I mean if the hero of yavin can't be bothered to get out of his pj's to gight the empire, he may not be taking things seriously.

The award outfit, though, THAT is where it is at.

How often do new waves of X-Wing come out? About every 6 months, right? So that's when I would expect another wave of figure packs (and maybe a boxed expansion alongside them, if we're lucky.

Not only the dress. There would be the haircut too... I hope they use the version from Empire for Leia.

From a painting perspective, painting the Cloud City outfit would be much more interesting than the Tantive IV outfit.

We could also see, though unlikely as they will use a movie outfit as it is more recognizable, an outfit like this from the upcoming Leia centric comic:

In a Leia Ally pack there would presumably be a side mission card. Here's something like what I'd like to see:

"Princess Rescue"

The heros start out in cells with none of their equipment. At the start of the mission Ally Leia infiltrates and springs them (see what I did there). Why Leia? There can be fluff reasons.

There is a trooper or two guarding their weapons and Leia (the only one armed) must take him out to put the access card in play.

Meanwhile there are things for unarmed heroes to do focusing their non-weapon abilities (skills, commands, movement, force powers, etc.).

Then the heroes can weapon up ( maybe this is about round 3).

Then they have to blast through a horde of troopers that shows up and exit with Leia.

Imp can only pick troopers or officers or Vader.
