Right, but I was just wondering the timeframe. It's Jan-March. So...now-ish? We are still dealing with the Winter tournament pack. Now there will be store championships? It's all so fast...
The first one in Minneapolis metro is this Saturday. The latest one I know of is March 14th locally. FFG's is on Jan 31st. I didn't check the guide book, but I think the events are supposed to be completed any time during January, February and March.

Those tokens are a lot lighter in color than the old ones. I like that I can have a different color than the other guy, less confusion that way. Plus, it pretty much confirms - at least for me - that they will continue to make new acrylic sets that are unique. Makes chasing down multiples for a two player game worth it. We've seen Shields, TL's and now Foci in different colors (and the TL's were a different size too). I wonder if they will repeat tokens with the OP kits too, or if it's a high level tourney thing now. I believe that the new spring kits have Range Rulers, so I suppose we have to wait till the summer kit is announced to find out. It might be cool if they did the cycle again, i.e. RR first, TL's second, Shields, Stresses, Ions etc. At least that is the order I recall, I may be wrong.

More like "multiple shots at the focus tokens," but yeah, going to hit up as many local championships as I can (the Bay Area has 7, so there are a few to choose from).
So, when was the Winter Tournament Pack supposed to be played? I just finished playing one of those puppies, but Winter didn't even start until Dec 22. Or is it the 23rd?
I've never cared about any of the alternate art cards until now. 
Is it sad that I have only just started with this game (having played one game against my wife so far) and I am already planning to attend one or more store championships? Not that I have any illusions about winning, mind you...
No it's not sad. It's fun! Good on you for wanting to jump in. Be prepared to have a good time and wear comfy shoes.

But the store is not listed on that list.
Now we haven't finalized the date, but once we do, do we let the supplier kmow the date as to get it on that list

He looks way too much like a member of the Backsteet Boys and not the menacing, thorn in your side, PS 9 TIE Interceptor that we've all come to know. I would have rather seen him with his Flight Helmet on and not this pretty boy before my eyes.

He looks way too much like a member of the Backsteet Boys and not the menacing, thorn in your side, PS 9 TIE Interceptor that we've all come to know. I would have rather seen him with his Flight Helmet on and not this pretty boy before my eyes.
