Anywhere in Milwaukee?

By Zeoinx, in X-Wing Organized Play

Hey, just got into the miniatures, when I finally relized that they werent the other low quality (and often bent to hell) miniatures that had the blank black bases from that company that shall not be named. I've been buying them at Barne's and Noble in Mayfair mall, but not sure where the players gather to play.

Almost tempted to start my own little shop near downtown if i cant find anything lol.

Welcome to the game. I'm from Madison but I know your a area has a decent group of players. Try Game Universe, that's where I've played before

And The Game Store on S 92nd.

And others will chime in with a couple more.

Game Universe, at least according to google, is WAY out of transportation range for me. I would need a bus route sadly at the moment. (preferabllly in milwaukee city, not milwuakee county)

As far as the game store on S92nd, not to sure if I can effieciently get there and back without wasting most my gaming time just on the bus trip alone lol.

Get a friend that has a car to play the game :)

 So you volunteering! lol

I wonder how hard it would be to start my own shop and have ya'll warp in to me! Prob harder then I think...you all prob play EMPIRE.....no hyper drives on normal ties lol

I play at the Board Game Barrister in Greenfield on Saturday afternoons. They have a sister store in Bayshore that get a lot of players as well. They meet on a weeknight I think.

Thanks for the locations, Im looking into seeing how to get to them, that Barrister looks like a nice place to check out.

I am pretty sure that the Board Game Barrister x-Wing game nights are Thursday nights. I am hoping to be able to get out there one of these days. I am in Grafton, about a half an hour north of there, and am saddled with one car for the family... It would be nice to find a couple people around here just to get together with once in a while... Until then there is always Vassal...
