Confirmation of Core Set Contents Needed

By Arrow, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Hi folks and Happy New Year! Last week I bought Imperial Assault and played a few intro games. It's great fun so far but I was hoping to confirm whether or not I've got the same figures and tokens that everyone else did.

First, did everyone get an AT-ST villain token versus the E-Web Engineer token pictured on Pg. 4 Tutorial Setup section of the Learn to Play booklet?

Second, did everyone get 9 Stormtrooper figures and 0 Rebel Troopers? Pg. 3 of the Skirmish Guide pictures Rebel Troopers but I can only find 3 tokens to represent them in a skirmish. Did I get too many Stormtroopers?

Yes we all get the AT-ST token as that is General Weiss, you can also buy the miniature.

Yes we all only get the 3 rebel trooper tokens, the miniatures for those are sold as 3 in a pack.

And no you didn't get to many stormtroopers, we all got 9 of those :)

I don't remember there being a E-Web Engineer token only the 2 miniatures.

Basically, the core set contains tokens for the first wave of expansions for the game - General Weiss, Chewbacca, IG-88, Han Solo, the Rebel Troopers and Saboteurs, and the Imperial Guard Commando. The tokens are for use in the Campaign missions that the game comes with until the actual expansions are available.

The E-Web in the Learn to Play guide is not an actual tokens. When showing where figures are placed, the rule books use icons that show the image from the deployment card, a colored ring indicating whether the figure is regular or elite, and this icon is expanded to occupy the same number of spaces on the map as the figure does. When a figure is needed that is not available in the core set, a token showing the same iconography is used instead.

Ah gotcha, didn't connect the AT-ST token to General Weiss till you brought it up. I just assumed the AT-ST model would be used in that situation. Guess I'll have to wait to field rebel trooper models until sometime in the near future...just wanted to make sure.

Thanks for all the replies as confirmation. I assumed the contents were identical to everyone but it never hurts to ask the community to be sure.
