I've seen this suggestion regarding the Target Lock for ATC being spent elsewhere. I must say I don't see that being a good idea. It costs five points, remember (it's only cheaper on the TIE Advance because that ship is overpriced to begin with), so it should be extremely useful. If it cost you one action every turn to use it I think it would suffer the same fate as ordnance - people wouldn't think it was worth the points.

But if they didn't read my posts we'd not have a third faction, if I hadn't been saying tie advanced need a title to add a third attack they'd still suck.

Actually I have seen numerous polls about age of players online and every one of them had a very small percentage 15 and under - there are not that many 13 year old players. Most players are between 25-35 iirc.

I think the ATC would have been better this way, in terms of game balance. But if the fix has been announced it's too late to make major changes, and in any case I'm not sure it will make a huge difference in practice: the ship still typically has to spend an action acquiring a lock in the first place, and the ATC also has to compete meaningfully with the Accuracy Corrector. So even if they did overcorrect, I don't think the consequences will be terribly dire.

Really this topic alone isn't that big of an issue,but OP has been showing similar behaviour in other threads and it has culminated with this.

Going into threads devoted to bumping the less competitive ships to competitive status and telling them to stop whining is bad manners.

Startimg a thread to call them all children is trolling and not acceptable behavior.

I disagree: the current ATC setup is both thematic (stay on the leader!), a more interesting gameplay mechanic than spending it and appropriate in power level. It's balanced by the TIE advanced's dial: staying on target is much harder than it seems. Vader can manage fairly easily but generics struggle (hence people considering Accuracy Corrector on them) and Maarek has to work at it.
