I finally got around to implementing a real venue page for participating venues.
for example http://lists.starwarsclubhouse.com/venue?venue_id=7
on the heatmap page, the pop-up for each venue is now a link to that venue home page. you can also get at the venue page from the tourneys page .
My next feature will be to inline the charts & graphs for that venue inside its home page, using the
time series charts
filtered for that venue. This will let people browse a venue's meta to see what the players there like to play
But before that I must fix a bunch in that all the venues aren't showing up on the tourney page!
A couple of other minor changes -- I regenerated the database model diagram as the old one had become stale. also, I updated the README to be more specific about how to run the application, as I several brave forkers have emerged that had to claw their way through installing my poorly documented code :-)
Another upcoming todo is to generally speed up site performance. I haven't done much work making the thing fast, and now we're getting close to almost 2,000 tournaments, some load times (such as the charts and graphs page) have gone over the 3+ second maximum page load wait time.
