Online Mission creator

There is one for descent and x-wing... but can't find one for this game?

I know you can just create missions, but they look really good when done in the official program.

I'd like to do some larger map missions, that plays a bit like a fps, with respawn. Domination, capture the flag, search&destroy etc... respawn games could even work, where it takes a certain number of rounds for a unit to respawn (tokens can be used to track the number of rounds).

I want this too. I'm sure it is only a matter of time. Getting the actual game into players' hands and the first round of expansions available is probably highest priority but then we'll most likely see a mission editor.

Hope so. I do look forward to the expansions, so I don't have to use those tokens for allies. I also hope for some kind of skirmish update to make some more open maps, with more tactical skirmish feeling than dungeon crawl.

Oh my god! The game just came out! Why don't I have everything right now!

Seriously. Patience is a virtue.

I agree with a skirmish expansion as and when, but I'm fine with the maps being enclosed. Given the way the rules work, fights which don't have broken-up lines of sight will rapidly degenerate into "I have an E-Web. I win."

Fighting around complexes and junkyards, and inside spaceships, is how most of the battles in the Rebellion were fought - big, set-piece battles on open plains is much more a clone wars thing, where both sides have infinite numbers of disposable grunts.

Cramped conditions, doors, corners and consoles give the pistoliers and melee fighters a decent chance against the guys with heavy guns.

You could have outdoors areas with lots of cover. Wide open areas wouldn't work, but I think more freedom of movement and paths to move would work just fine. You could use larger forces for such scenarios too. I also imagine a good mab would combine indoors and outdoors environments, so you'd have to go through that door and fight in the building.

I'd just like a more skirmish like feeling, but right now skirmish feels just like a dungeon crawl solo scenario. I'd like a bit more of a tilt towards tactical skirmish.
