Started the tournament against Leebacca and won with Chewie with 1 Hull left when time was called. One of my IG88 was nearly destroyed at the end.
Second round I went against Dash + 2x A-Wing + 2x Z95 list. I killed his Z95's in 2 rounds and then went to his Dash. After couple of rounds my opponent conceded out of frustration after my evades and his Dash was with 1 hull left and PS0. I took a 100-0 win and half an hour break.
Third swiss round was pretty tough. My opponent was playing 3x Omicron Lambda + Whisper with ACD and VI. I destroyed one Lambda in 2 rounds and second one pretty fast after it. One shuttle stood still for like 4-5 rounds by bumping and making red stops which was pretty hilarious. Destroyed the last lambda later in the round. Didn't bother with the Whisper because I couldn't get it in my arcs with 3 lambdas covering the entire play area with their butts. I lost one IG and took a close win with a 13p margin.
Last Swiss round I went against Too Fat Too Furious (I don't like Fat Han name for Falcon+bandit lists)
I haven't played against Falcons with double IG88's before so I didn't know how it would play out. Went for the Z95 first as they could become nuisance with blocking and denying actions. Taking the Z95 took surprisingly long and I lost IG88 due being too greedy with evades. Could've taken 1 hit, but took 3 from Gunner instead with one being a critical.. After losing one of my IG88's going 1v1 against nearly full HP Falcon I could get max 1 damage in a turn.
Made the Swiss 4th due to pretty bad MoV after all.
There were some confusion about top 4. I was 2nd first, but after some miscalculations I was 4th and there was also wrong guy playing in Top4. Didn't matter that much as it was quickly sorted out and didn't make difference for Swiss pairings.
I was going to play again against Too Fat Too Furious. But this time I just plain ignored Z95 and went for the Falcon. Getting shots in with 6-8 dice is easier than with 3 dice. Falcon player got pretty frustrated as he got only 1 damage in from like 3 rounds of shooting. Dice were getting hotter for me as the tournament progressed. Finally he was getting damage done and quickly my IG88 was getting damage cards and first critical was a Direct so I had to play even more defensive with it. Falcon did end up going down after 7 criticals and couple of them being Primary weapon -1, 2x Console Fires, couple of Directs... It was looking good for me as it was 2x Z95 going against 2x IG88's. So I managed to take a victory.
In the other top 4 game it was pretty close what I heard and Chewie + B-Wing list would've won it if it was timed match, but in the end Etahn + 4x A-Wing list made it to the finals.
In the finals we started from the opposing corners across the map. He went 4 and 5 forward with A-wings and boosted even further and Etahn was following closely while barrel rolling. I went for slow play and next turn banked to the center with both of my IG88's while he went 3 bank and 3 turn with his A-wings for pretty solid formation. His Etahn managed to fly into an asteroid due to piloting error and took a hit. Only 1 IG88 and A-wing could get shots in.
Next turn I was going to be in a bad position, but it didn't bother me that much, because if I lived with both IG88's intact my next turn would be way superior to his. I went for his Etahn and got few damage in while his 4 A-Wings and Etahn got my other IG88 down to 2 hull left. Next turn he went 3-5 speed koiogran turns and something with his Etahn. I dropped double seismics to 2 A-wings knocking their shields down.
Etahn was pretty exposed and not getting shots and my IG88's took it down and then it was just A-wings vs both IG88's. There forward it was pretty much one A-wing down each turn and took the win.
Tried PtL IG88's, but I found it way worse than Predator IG88's. Tried Mangler on other and HLC on other, but found it pretty bad. The only thing I'm not sure on is the last 4 points which end up being seismics for this tournament. They weren't bad but didn't make that much of an impact either.
There was also a surprise price for the winner. Get to choose either HWK290 or that ugly GF9 space station mat. Took the game mat as I already have 2x HWK and 3rd mat is always nice. Can play some asteroidless games there
Pretty long post.. I asked if they were going to post full rankings and lists sometime and haven't got an answer yet.
(Didn't get my BYE card for Regionals too, because it wasn't in the tournament kit box for some reason.. They said they were going to contact FFG for it or something.

I wrote this up for my friends last night, so I might as well post it here as well. This was for the Roll the Dice Store Championship in Murfreesboro, TN. We had 10 players, one of which dropped out after the first round. The rounds were 60 minutes long.

My list was a blast to fly too, although I need some serious practice with the Firespray before I bring it to another tournament, they fly very different than most ships and I'm not used to it yet!

The TO (Max) was able to have two tables being recorded per round, (5 swiss, top 8, top 4, and Finals). From what I could see he tried to rotate as many different people through as possible. So I'm hoping that once he posts all 15 videos that quintuple thugs make an appearance.

Oh, and he had the #3 seed. Thug life!

Yesterday Fun 4 All games in Yipsilanti, MI held their store championship. Ten people attended. I don't have all of the lists, perhaps the T.O. will post them later. But I did win the tournament and know the top 4 lists. It was an all around great tournament and Matt Davey did a great job running it.

The double aggressors list was great, super fast, agile, and sturdy. I only lost two ships the whole day, the first and last games.

R1 was against Rexler+predator, Sigma+stigium+tactician, sigma+stigium+sensor jammer. He made the mistake of jousting with his phantoms and one was obliterated in the first round of combat. I slowly whittled the other phantom and the defender down, and lost my IG88C after making a bad move and leaving him without an evade token at range 1 of rexler. B cleaned up, though.

R2 was against a good friend of mine who ran Kath+predator+outlaw tech+inertial dampeners+tactical jammer, Kavil+blaster turret+R4, syndicate thug+ion turret+R4+btl-a4. I got kavil down pretty fast, followed by kath and the warthog. I felt ba, but it wasn't close.

R3 was against 4x blue, bandit. I thought this was the end for me when the pairing was announced. We set up in opposite corners, with my ships in my right hand corner, and I flew along my side then down the left side. I got B behind his Bs and C turned in early and then S-looped around to keep his ships in arc. I focused down 1 B, then the headhunter. I spent most of the game trying to stay out of arcs as best I could and whittled down two more Bs before time was called. The aggressor's speed and agility kept them alive.

R4 was against Jeff B (2nd place). I had planned on going after corran first, but he put dash out in front and I focused him down with the help of some very lucky green dice and two direct hits. He got C down to 1 hull, but I chased corran down and killed him.

First round of the top 4 was against the 4th seed. He kept N'dru off to the side and I pounced on him quick. He managed to only get 1 damage through with the missiles. I swung around to face Boba and kavil coming down the middle of the board and blocked Boba onto a rock for three turns in which I burned him down. That left kavil alone against both my ships and he was shortly dispatched.

The finals was a rematch of round 4 from the swiss, but went quite differently. I pincered corran and got him down rather quickly, but C was picked down to a few hull left. I tried to disengage, but dash kept in hot pursuit and got the last few damage. It was then a long cat and mouse game, starting with a full health B vs dash minus a shield. I evaded nearly every turn, as I figured I had the advantage the longer the game went on. I slowly whittled dash down. One turn I chose to boost to get a shot rather than evade and I took 3 damage, down to 3 hull left. I did manage to put several crits on dash, including stunned pilot, so when I managed to block dash, it took him down to 1 hull. A s-loop put me in position to take a final shot and finished off dash.

Final analysis, the aggressor is very mobile, but really needs the s-loops to keep its guns pointed in the right direction. C's boost+evade combined with B's gunner make a deadly combo. I boosted+evade or evaded nearly every turn unless i couldn't get shot at, when I focused. Autothrusters is amazing. You really want to stay at range three and shoot with the mangler cannon. The extra evade from a blank roll saved many many damage, especially against dash. I got a few good damage from the bombs, but they were not nearly as useful. On the other hand, predator, and advanced sensors meant I modified every attack and almost never lost actions.

Most people at the tournament were surprised by how effective Guri was in Garrett's two ship build. He went undefeated until that final match. Sensor Jammers must have blocked 30+ hits all day.

Maybe I'm just missing something here, but I really miss the old "Results threads" that has the complete statistics up top in the very first post - e.g. the percentage of Store Champs that featured a TIE Phantom, the percentage of Rebel builds that featured 3+ ships, etc.
