Question about Recurring Credit

By ST4LK3R, in Android: Netrunner The Card Game

I just bought the game. I've only played it twice but I really enjoy it. One thing that seems unclear to is about the mechanics of "Recurring Credit": where do the initial credits come from? For example, the card "The Toolbox" has 2 recurring credits that are placed on it when it enters play. Do those credits come out of the token bank, or the player's credit pool (ie: an additional cost to play the card)?

Thanks.

The credits come from the token bank. Think of them as a continually regenerating credit supply that isn't a part of your credit pool (e.g. can't be affected by Closed Accounts), and has restrictions on how they can be spent.

Thanks!

Often for reoccurring credits I just place 1 credit tokens for each reoccuring credit on the card that has them. When I use those credits I just turn them over to the activation counter side to indicate that they are spent. When my next turn begins I just flip them back over to credit sides.
