The greatest number of damage cards that can be actively in play (ie: not discarded when a ship is destroyed) on one side during a 100-pt match is 31. The damage deck has 33 cards.

Fly against mareek and that number becomes bigger.

It can take 20 damage cards for mareek to kill leebo without a hull upgrade.

I wasn't counting cards that have been discarded. Only damaged cards assigned to ships still in play.

Is that including or excluding the "How Many Times Can We Hit Fel's Wrath" game? Be tricky to do it all in one round, but I think it's possible to empty the deck on him.

If it's an epic game you can swap the obstacle for a huge ship with em emitter for... 9 defense dice

4 for phantom

1 for stealth device

1 for range

3 for em emitter obstructed attack.

And then roll 9 eyes and realize you decided to not focus that turn.

And it can go up to 11 defense die if it is a shot at range 5 from a huge's primary weapon.

For the first one it is plausible but very unlikely. If that happened I would ask my opponent if they shuffled their deck However if a minor explosion creeps in and finishes the job I would find it hilarious but feel sorry at the bad luck. If it happened to me I would demand to roll my opponents dice to ensure they were not weighted.

Echo rolled 4 crits and a blank on a Decimator yesterday. Only one Direct Hit (and a Minor Explosion, IIRC), though. Still, ouch!

Equals 13 defense dice for 1 attack. (You all thought I was going to include range bonuses too, didn't you?)

A falcon with cluster missiles, tactician and gunner can deal 3 stress to an enemy at range 2 inside its firing arc in 1 turn.

Replace gunner with tactician for a total of four stress tokens.

Edit:

VT-49 with flechette torpedoes, two tacticians and gunner deals five stress tokens.

Tantive IV deals 18 stress tokens during one round of combat. :rolleyes:

Speaking of Fel's Wrath...


It's possible for Fel's Wrath to make a maneuver and then attack on the turn after he dies. (if Corran Horn kills him in the end phase.)

Due to Simultaneous Fire, it is possible for enemies to be forced to shoot at Biggs after he's already dead.

It's possible to do up to 10 damage to yourself: named deci+Daredevil+Gunner+Vader onto an asteriod=7 dmg on a fresh deci. If you had no shields, ten, providing you rolled crits and got direct hits/minor explosions. Still wouldn't kill you though.
