ok folks i'm attempting to build a Zi Mei aggro deck so that i have something different to my Raphael deck (which is pretty solid). I don't have many of the power cards but any suggetions are welcome.

Without most of the power cards, a fire build may be the better way to go, it's got several very cheap foundation spammings, and she can boost throws fairly high up. with a 7hs, and the amount of 1/6, 0/6, 1/5 foundations that fire has, you can REALLY make use of throws +

It gets even more silly if you actually run ira-spinta with it, but that's a bit of a money card.

I know this is somewhat of a no-brainer question, but i have to ask it anyhow: Which Zi Mei are you building? Promo or Starter? Fire is a great symbol option for either starting character, but here's a couple thoughts for you to consider:

1) Maybe try having Starter Zi as your starting character, and then run 3 or 4 copies of Promo so as to Stack them. She just might be as good as Yi Shan and Talbain are when stacked.

2) Depending upon who you choose for your Starting character means you can splash off-symbol cards. If running Promo, i would splash some Evil. If Starter, than either Air or Chaos are solid choices. My $$ would be on Chaos, however, as it gives you some pivotal tech: Red Lotus and Destiny being among them.

3) Some inexpensive attack cards worth looking into: Melancholic Mercurious, Gashiki Lunar Rebellion and Mark of the Beast are all more or less easy to come by and work well in a Fire set up.

i plan to use the starter deck Zi Mei as i can generate multiples at no big cost to my overall control checks, as promo Zi Mei needs lower checks for her damage pump effect
