Hi. Newbie here. Hope you had a good New Year!

I’ve recently purchased the Dark Heresy 2 book, and like it, but I’d be interested to know what supplements to expect?

Speaking as someone who doesn’t really want to get all the other 40KRP lines (Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, etc) I was hoping that there will be enough material to include information on all types of aliens (not just Eldar), Chaos (without having to buy into Black Crusade), Marines (without having to buy into Deathwatch) and spacefarers and ships (without having to buy into Rogue Trader).

I’m not wanting to play these people as such - I’m happy with investigative campaigns and I think the player options available are fine - but will we get comprehensive bestiaries and the like, as well as good source material in supplements and adventures? It’s not clear to me how FFG will seek to support the line yet.

FFG will most likely provide a book for the different Ordos (Ordo Hereticus, Ordo Xenos and Ordo Malleus), each getting their own supplement.

A book for the Ordo Hereticus has already been announced ( http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_news.asp?eidn=5232 ).

Every game line so far (with the exception of Black Crusade) has had a supplement that's dedicated towards enemies/beastiary, so this might also be the case for DH2.

Dark Heresy (1) - Creatures Anathema

Rogue Trader - The Koronus Bestiary

Deathwatch - Mark Of The Xenos

Only War - Enemies of the Imperium

Another possibility is that it doesn't come into a separate supplement but is part of the Ordo books.

Like Ordo Hereticus dealing with heretics/witches/mutants, Ordo Xenos with all kinds of Xeno races and Ordo Malleus daemons. Each book containing detailed information about the adversaries that each Ordo has.

Now that I wrote about this here, I'd say the latter seems to be a very structured and logical move from FFG.
