Ok we have Kavil a S&V pilot that uses a Y Wing...the pilot atribute is that when attacking a ship out side of your firing arc roll one aditional attack dice. Ok moving on to the upgrades that affect attacking

BTL-A4 - Y-Wing : states that you cannot attack ships outside of your firing arc, that after performing a primary weapon attack that you may make an attack with your turret secondary weapon.

Now I add blaster turret to the mix. Blaster turret states that it is an attack (focus) : spend 1 focus token to attack 1 ship ( even outside your firing arc) this is an attack value of 3.

Now my question is can i attack two different ships with this? Am I able to roll 4 attack dice with the blaster turret aimed at a ship outside of my firing arc? Is the blaster turret able to bypass the Y-Wing Title?

Nope. BTL-4A essentially makes your turret a cannon that can only fire inside of your arc. The upside is that you can fire both the turret and your primary weapon in the same round.

BTL-4A is a horrible upgrade for Kavil since it makes his pilot ability useless.

The two attacks do not need to be at the same target. For instance if you had a Rebel Y-Wing with an Ion Cannon Turret, BTL-4A, and R3-A2 you would be able to fire your primary weapon at one target and assign it stress and then fire your secondary weapon at a second target and assign it stress.

...so that's the logic behind it. For Kavil it makes his ability redundant, but the two attacks are still pretty handy for anyone else.

What would the title be good for on a Y-Wing?

You get two attacks each round! One with the primary and one with the turret upgrade card.

The title changes the Y-Wing: It is no longer a turret ship. Instead it is a heavy hitter.

It's a shame that Kavil is the only Y-Wing pilot with an EPT and his ability is wasted with the BTL-A4 title.
