BUT, you can still loop ispins with it, and it lets you discard one of your opponents momentum. It shares fire/air with ispin...

Actually, i think Solitary Assasin will step up and see a lot more play, as it combos well with Mentally Unstable so that you COULD, for example, play Fury of the Ancients + Solitary Assasin to get yourself 3 momentum. Then, with Mentally Unstable, pick that card back up again to play it fully Multipled out...

Certainly, with the Bannings Momentum Gen is no longer brainless but must be thought out. Me likey!

I think Professional Soldier is the new Lord of the Makai. It's an enhance, and it nets you one momentum, and it has Air and Chaos.

Also, good catch on Mouse + Ira-Spinta. I'll say this much, Mouse is a lot more balanced than Makai, but can obviously serve the same purposes.

Oh yeah, and it doesn't have the scales, so honestly, Air is looking QUITE appealing over order (especially since Perfect Sense of Balance vs Order = lol)

I agree with you about Professional Soldier. It's always been one of my favorite cards, tho i haven't run it since netting my playset of LotM. But, Air and Chaos as it's main symbol spread (although, it's nice that Life has reliable momentum gen, too), and a 1/5 stat makes it ridiculous easy to spam. Too bad about it not having a block, but whatev's...

The Mouse's Humility is a really good card. Especially in decks that can add cards from cardpool to momentum (same turn loopage) - see Rafael and his action ^^

Also, try Body of Souls (Algol support) for F commit: Loopage.

There are still looping tricks, just not looping tricks with 6 checks and other free enhances...

Raphael's action? Pssht, try his foundation: Questionable Motives. Mm...virtually costless card pool clearing (and even more LOL when combined with Capoera).

Although Natural Leader has 3 top tier symbols, I say Professional Soldier is going to be one of the premier momentum generators with Makai gone. It isn't nearly as drawbacky (lol) as one might think. It costs you your staging area, but why not just use something that is committed? Why not use itself? Or, just consider what you're going to be using that momentum for.

from the mouse is definately a cool card. loopage is always good, so i bet you will start seeing it at worlds once the makai ban hapens.

The effect is just so simple, and relatively abusable. It's +1 to the handsize (which as Aquakinesis has proven, can never be bad), it's tutoring, the momentum discard is nice, and if you know how to rig your momentum (or just abuse the Hell out of Spinta), how can you go wrong?

Professional Soldier is one of my favorite cards, and I've been using it even after getting my LOTMs. I also can't help but put 4 Cage Arena in every deck with it as well.

How exactly does A New Look work? They fail a form and you get to play osmething from your hand with +1; so basically a Val's shop? Or is there something else I am missing?

A New Low allows you to play attacks! So, Akuma basically turns into Chunners, and he can potentially force A New Low to go off via BRT, Seclusion, Character Ability...

Exactly. You make them fail their first card, then hit em hard with Akuma's broken commit ability and anything else you pummel them with. Also, interesting food for thought, only Fire Akuma can get out both White Magic and A New Low and use Seclusion on your opponent's first turn.
