How are you planning to store AT-ST and future mini's?

By Were-Skeleton, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

How are you guys storing your AT-ST's? They take up so much room in the box and they have numerous parts that could possibly bend or snap. All mini's I stored in a Plano 3600 that fits in the box perfectly. Except the nexu's, I put those in those tiny storage boxes with a lid that you can get from JoAnns. Those tails seemed pretty fragile.

Anyway, I was thinking a quilted draw string bag and find a spot for it in another case with General Weiss whenever I get that. My wife can make those in no time with a little Star Wars fabric.

My AT-ST is sat on my desk next to monitor and printer :) rest are in bags atm

Yeah, half-considering at least partially dismantling the AT-ST to get it to fit with the rest... Everything else fits terrific in a storage sorter that fits perfectly in the box.

ade with foam core and some PVA glue

I love BattleFoam for X-Wing but i find it difficult to see the practicality of the tokens slot in their trays for IA. However, for the smaller minis I will be buying either regular BattleFoam with the cut outs for 38x30 mm figs or more likely go for the Feldherr backpack with similar foam and a thicker foam for the large/huge models

BTW: I magnetized the nose gun and the side guns on the AT-ST for better protection (during transportation) and adjustable aiming:

Just ordered battle foam for it.

Does that insert have room for the minis that are coming in the Ally and Villian expansions, or just core minis?

Core only, and that's my second major issue with it. And why I am going for a Feldherr bag instead with some pluck foam and standard cut outs for figures
