I've looked around and I don't think I've seen this addressed to my satisfaction, so here's what I'm not understanding about deployment cards;
1) Why do the Ally/Villain packs come with duplicate cards? If I buy the Han pack, I'm happy to get the model, the new Command cards and the missions, but why include another copy of what looks to be the exact same deployment card?
2)Following off of that, the Rebel Saboteurs (for example) come with an extra copy of the grey card. While it's helpful that it includes the red card, did we really need the extra grey? Let's say I want to run all 3 cards in a skirmish match; I have plastic models to deploy for one card, as well as the tokens in the Core Set for the grey card included therein, but that leaves me without an "official" model/token to represent the third card. What gives?
3)I'm assuming that the Luke/Vader baggie that represents their packs didn't come with another deployment card because it would have been pointless if it's included in with the Core cards, but then all the upcoming unique Hero/Villain packs actually DO come with their deployment card that is apparently identical to the one in the box. I get that you could use the tokens for the extra Luke/Vader, as you could with Weiss, Iggy Pop, Chewie, etc, but then UNLIKE those characters that get their own pack later, you're left without that other deployment card.
I just feel like there's this inconsistent distribution thing going on here. Maybe I'm missing something. If anyone has put in some time with the game and sees what I'm not seeing, please do chime in and open my eyes.
