Can it be pierced?

Does it take effect against things like force choke, or blast that just straight deal damage? (I believe the answer is no to this q but not sure)

It can be pierced.

But I'm not sure whether or not it works against choke and blast. My gut says that it doesn't work vs them.

So no, the passive defense block cannot be used on Force Choke, Blast, Cleave, or anything like that.

This is why I think Recover could be useful since all of the figures with it have Block and team that up with Chewie or a royal guards
