So quick question we ran into can the quickdraw ability be used to interrupt any imperial figures activation even if they are not targeting the smuggler chick and are across the board targeting some other rebel figure?
Quickdraw
As long as she's got line of sight to the figure being activated it's all good. But only once per round of my memory serves me right
My group just finished running the "Breaking Point" mission. I play Jyn Odan and I was told I could not Quick Draw on the Royal Guard Champion because he doesn't have an activation. What are your thoughts on this?
The Royal Guard Champion reads as:
Instead of activation as normal, the Royal Guard Champion performs 1 action after each hero activation.
It kinda sounds like an interrupt.
Over all I thought this mission was hard. We won, but I think it is because the Imperial Player missed his Support.
Then you can't use Quick Draw against the Champion because it isn't his turn, it is indeed worded like an Interrupt.
Jyn Odan's "Quickdraw" ability has to target the figure that is taking the action so she does have to have line of sight to that figure, but there is no range limit. Here it is:

She has already killed Stormtroopers in my group before they could get a shot off. It is an incredibly cool and thematic ability for a smuggler. Her class should be gunslinger or duelist.
Sorry to dredge this up, but I played this mission with my friend a week or two ago and this same problem came up. So I contacted FFG about this and have received a response.

So, there is confirmation now that the Royal Guard Champion activates after every Rebel player's turn, which allows interrupt abilities to fire.
What Aekiel said.
Had this happen to me in the Return to Hoth campaign which caused such a ruckus between players that we redid the mission to get a result everyone could be happy with.
