E-wing repaints
Working on a couple of different ships. Here's my first attempt at an E-wing.
I know orange is not a very star wars like color but I picked it looking at rebel flight suits, as always I hope you folks like it.
My friends and I think this is one ship that just does not look good with its stock color, any color change is a change for the better.

I like it. I made the mistake of painting my whole E-wing green, and it needed some other colors, so I had to go back and add those in. I like the balance between your different colors.

I've since redone the nose art on these E's, but the main paintjob is unchanged from these pics I put up a while back. It includes squad number pips on the backs of the wings.
The nose art is now an eclipse - black circle with orange flares; originally it was a 'kraken', but squids are hard to paint!
After seeing what Bmwrider did with his, specifically with the wings, I painted my version up!

Very cool man, I love the thought of inspiring someone, never thought my would could do that.
I wanted to make a more sleek looking E-wing, so I build this from scratch.
