That still looks REALLY great though! Better than mine ![]()
Lambda repaints
Thank you all for the compliments. I was quite pleased with how that one turned out. The only downside to it was that particular Lambda model has unfortunately tight wings and scrapes paint off no matter how much I thin it out. I might need to bust it open and see about loosening those wings a bit.
OK, before I post... Sorry ExpatSmuggler. I just wish I had access to a grey as dark as yours was. But this will have to do for me. I have wimped out on doing a Nuln Oil wash over the grey, as my 'washing' abilities over large panels is lackluster at best...
Cheers
Even without the darker grey that turned out quite well! Right on ya mate!
Here's my Lambda. She looks good on the table but don't zoom in because she's ugly up close.

I have a quick question for those spraying/painting lambdas.
Does the paint not cause the wings to stick in position once dry?
Mine haven't but you can not cake it on. Also if the wings rub the body it can remove the paint.
Hey everyone, I am new to the whole repainting process, but here is my shuttle.

I need to get better at photography, but here's my rendition of a Jodo Cast shuttle Foxcatch.

OK, why did the last month's worth of posts in this thread not show up until today?
Because I totally bumped it? ![]()
Because I totally bumped it?
No, I'm saying that this thread has not shown up on any of my devices as having had new posts since 27th of Jan, then today it pops up as having new posts, so I click on the button to take me to the first unread post (keep in mind I use the "mark all posts read" button frequently) and it takes me to the post from the 31st Jan, and the 5 posts after that that have been made in the past weeks.

I'm having similar problems when navigating on the topic page. When I click on the "x" to see the first post, first unread and last post, I click on the first unread post and it just takes me to the first post. So then I've got to scroll down until I find the unread ones. Getting a little annoying. Anyone else having this issue?
]Hi group- I want to add some of my model repaints but am having trouble adding my photos- here is a test case and I hope this works...
