Nothing beats Ritter Sport
I have to disagree with this. I can restrain myself from buying that. But when I pass the local chocolatier I have a harder time resisting the handmade chocolates and pralines than I have resisting an invitation for a game of X-wing. ![]()
It's the secret ingredient to slowly turn me into a Belgian ![]()
Hand-made chocolates beats maschine-made, of course. ![]()
I think the reason you are seeing the grip now is because the people that liked the forum the way it was had no reason to speak up till now. Like I just saw Gadge's post asking for subforum ideas literally 30 minutes ago in the off topic sub. It was made a few days ago and I just saw it. That exemplifies the reason I have with so many different subs. It's too easy to miss vital posts.
No it was to easy to miss vital post because people do not use the sub-forums. Use the thing properly, and you will find the good stuff.... now.
Random chaos is what we had... and it ain't ever cool.

Came to a thread about crying in the forums.
Read a post crying about crying in the forums.
Wondered if the inherent hypocrisy of the post or the brutal lack of empathy will cause OP's head to explode first.
/ gets popcorn.
Lol lack of empathy? I didn't think the X-Wing forums were free counseling sessions
Empathy is for everyday. It is the trait on which our successful civilizations are built. It doesn't surprise me that you dismiss it, our culture pushes men to bury their emotions to everyone's detriment.
I guess more to the point we can try to find a respectable middle ground for opinions? Who knows? Frankly, I don't think humanity in general has that ability.
Also. burying emotion is one of the worst things anyone can do....
On any/all internet forums, I just stop reading a post after the use of the words "cry", "whine", "hurt", or anything along those lines.
The complainers who complain about complaining and feel the need to use such dismissive language are best ignored.
Wait, so you're crying about people crying about things?

Noted...
ill keep that in mind when I post!!
Oh how I would hate to lose your insightful insight!! ![]()

You don't even know me.
It usually takes posters several threads before they figure out that I'm not insightful.

You assume I read further than that one word?
I posted as a public service. . . And knowing is half the battle.
This thread is not contributing anything useful to the X-Wing forums, and was started with the intention of picking fights. Because of this, the thread has now been locked.
