In skirmish game, if possible purchase upgrade cards to improve forces?

If possible use by example, a vibroblade or an A280 blaster rifle?

No the only thinks you can use are the deployment cards, Command Cards, Maps, the skirmish Missions at the start of the game.

Command Cards are what you use in skirmish play to upgrade your guys.
