I used a 1:48 WW2 wheel and rolled it over the green stuff you could see in "very vip mining outpost".

Thank you! Well the ships are scratchbuitl pirates and civilian vessels: Jawa-Ferry, insectoid Bacta-Freighter, snub fighter and Bothan-shuttle, diving-bomber, mon-calamari shuttle.

Macross, when doing all the highlighting displayed in the blog, do you dry brush, line highlight or both? I tend to rely on dry brushing but find it can look a little 'scratchy' and undefined. I use standard citedal paints which may be my issue but I want to be assured i'm on the right path technique-wise before I go and replace all my paints :)
