Picking up stuff: drop it when wounded?

By Eladamri, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

So,- SPOILER - when you play the side mission: Sympathy for the rebellion, and you pick up a token as a rebel, do you drop it when you get wounded? A similar thing happened to me when I had to save my pilot in a forced mission; do you pick up his token, and drop him when wounded? Or just when killed entirely?

thxè!

Upon being Wounded you drop anything you are carrying token wise and it gets place under your wounded character, they can not pick up anything whilst wounded.

Mission Briefing

Neutral mission tokens represent recruits.

Healthy heroes and Stormtroopers can retrieve recruits, A figure can only carry 1 recruit at a time

Rule Book Pg 13

Healthy
During a campaign, a hero is healthy as long as he is not
wounded.

Rule Book Pg 22

Retrieving Tokens
Some missions allow figures to retrieve specific tokens. A figure adjacent to or in the same space as the token can perform an interact to retrieve the token. Place the token on the figure’s base to mark that the figure is now carrying that token. The token now moves with the figure.
A carried token cannot be retrieved by other figures, traded to
other figures, or voluntarily dropped.
If a figure is defeated, any tokens that it is carrying are dropped
in its space. This includes when a hero becomes wounded or if
he withdraws.
Mission rules specify the effect and purpose of retrieving
tokens.
At the end of a mission, all carried tokens are returned to the
game box.
Retrieving a token is not claiming a token.

Hopefully that will clear up the question a little
