As of now, which sets would fall under the mini-std banner?

Has there been three expansions since the last base? Not that I know what that was.

The most recent base set was Soul Calibur IV + ShadoWar, the most recently released pair of sets. Those are the only sets legal in the mini-standard format.

Thank you Waffle. The next 3 expansions which would comprise mini-std. are a SC, Tekken, and ? < is that a known qty. yet?>

Im guessing that UFS is released as a base + 3 booster-only expansions, rinse, repeat?

Sometime in July, we should be seeing a Tekken set

Sometime in October, a new Soul Calibur

Sometime in early 2010, no news yet. This one might be a return to 2-sets-release, depending on how things turn out. (I think -- check the State of the Game thread at the very top of the list, it mentions this IIRC)

What about Promo sets? No-one's mentioned anything about which promo sets are legal for mini-format...

And i understand it its just the most recent watermark.

Me personally once my knee gets better and i can pull out boxes of cards i am going to try and build a fully banned deck...

I dont think i have a banned character though so i may have to make it with Universal Fighter or something, lol.
