Efficient way to update your game according to FFG changes?

By Zombiemold, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Was just wondering what everyone has done about all of the official balance changes made my FFG in the FAQ. For instance some updates make some very valuable changes to the flavor text of the cards, has anyone found a decent method to append the text and add changes etc?

I just have the FAQ printed out and nearby. It can be hard to remember when we have a situation that is in there, but oh well. I'm not going to deface my cards.

I was thinking of maybe doing one of two things:

1: go to kinkos and see if I can reprint the cards that needs the changes, but I figure would be difficult to match the printed cards to the ones in the deck

2: print out the changes on some labels and place them over the cards text or something.

I guess im just suprised someone hasn't come out with a template or something to make this easier, otherwise Im going to have to tinker in photoshop.

Anyone else able to accomidate the changes into the game?

I think they (FFG) integrates replacement cards in one of future expansions (alike as AoD, WoD, RtL, ToI ...) this is best way

Acolyte Rivan has a ton of templates on his site

I think that the best way is to inser all the cards into deck protectors sleeves and than put changes written on a striped paper into the sleeve front side.

Side of responsibility is totally clear. Buyers as "customers" don't cause originating status and await corrections. They pay for this new corrected cards "second time" in future expansions ( if producer include their printing costs to price of exp. ) or will not play ( if FFG adds them to next exp. for free ). Only what customers must do is buy next expansion what finally company increases profit gui%C3%B1o.gif .

So, don't be hurry, FFG is serious company and from my previous experiences I know that they include new versions (titled revisions too) of cards in future expansions as usual.

Have to agree. FFG has always been good at adding errata'd /updated versions of cards in additional expansions. So be patient and just have the updated Errata page on hand when needed. If you play the game enough it will just be something you know instead of having to look up all the time.
