I've also been wondering if Ten Numb will finally be worth running. I'm just not 100% convinced that he'll be worth 35 points. Then again, free crits are free crits. Even better that they can't be avoided. I'd add VI to further make phantoms cry.

Well, now we are talking about a 43 point Ten, not a 35 point Ten. Totally different beast. If your putting 43 points into Ten, you've probably lost the game on Turn zero. 1 crit each round that's un-cancelable wont save you.

I'm assuming you've never seen Advanced Sensors.
Phantoms are pretty touchable. We also aren't flying 1v1s here, usually. If they are going through conniptions to avoid Ten, they are probably gonna be easier to get a bead on with other folks.

I'm just stating the statement saying a Phantom can out fly a bwing is not entirely correct.
A bwing with a few upgrade and someone who knows what they are doing and builds a good squad is a force to be reckon with

Sorry but to say you lost on turn 0 is totally incorrect.
The bwing is an awesome ship with lots of upgrade options, and Phantoms, Whisper especially can be blocked easily.
Echo not so much, but in such a heavy turret meta we see whisper more than echo.

No, I had an account from a while back. But it was the first thing that got me excited enough to post about!
You could always take Nera w/ Flachette Torps, Deadeye, and Munitions Failsafe for 30 pts and then Ten Numb w/ Mangler Cannon and VI. You stress out the Phantom with a miss, but it has to do a green manuever next turn. That seriously reduces where it's going to end up. Ten Numb should be able to get a shot off at that point.

I'm assuming you've never seen Advanced Sensors.
Barrel Rolling before your move rather than after doesn't make the B-Wing more maneuverable than a Phantom, nor does it make the B-Wing harder to outfly or predict; the end result is usually the same. Advanced Sensors is really just there to avoid bumps and to get actions even when you go red.

Welcome to the forums. Would love to find a way to make Numb more cost effective, and the veteran instincts, engine upgrade And advanced sensors are some interesting ideas. Against a decimator your mangler and numb idea would be a very useful build, but being outmaneuvered by other ships is always a challenge with b-wings. The rebel aces certainly helped with that, but focused fire takes out an outmanuvered b-wing quickly. Keep experimenting and fly what you enjoy!
Just run him with Etahn thats where he is at his best.
Saw a list recently that did quite well
Ten Numb + VI, Auto Blaster, Advanced Sensors
5x Bandits.
As long as you can keep Ten Numb under 40 points and can take 5 bandits for blocking, I think you have a solid list.

Cracken gives biggs the R2-F2 action after shooting to keep him alive longer (dice willing) so Ten Nunb can keep giving crits to interceptors with autothrusters and the unluckly phanton
