Hello all.

I had fun playing the elf last night, though I reiterate though that it's a shame there is only one 'woods' space in the middle region.

Then it occured to me that (I've never seen it) there is a chance that the Forest map has 'woods' spaces on it. I couldn't make out the detail on pictures I found online, but I bet there's a 3rd ed. veteran here somewhere who'd be happy enough to tell me.

The 3rd Edition Forest spaces are as follows -

The Path - Woodland - Clearing - Glade - Copse - Woodland - Path - Dense Forest - Path - Swampland - Mystic Glade - Woodland - Thicket - Clearing - Blasted Heath - The Wraith Lord's Lair.

No "Woods" to speak of, but who knows what will be made for the Revised 4th Edition!?!?

Maybe they can add a frog king or the town of frogs. ! You need a potion to shrink your size

Yes, it may well be. But the Elf can only teleport woods to woods within a single region. This way the elf doesn't benefit from extra boards as much because his power is only good on the outer region of the main map (he can't even use it in the middle region - only one woods).

I just think it would be cool if the Elf could use his power in another region - especially when we get a whole lot more regions wherein the elf would be otherwise useless.

It all makes sense. Elfs are living in the forest, so they know every shortcut

If FFG would do that, then the Elf become a very interesting character to play with

PS: he is that already but he is only limiting to the woods in the outer region
