Finding players in Germany

By Killer Power2, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Hi!

I were thinking about getting this game because:

1. I've read all those novels and really like them and

2. I really like Card games, where you can create your own deck

So this sounds like a perfect match to me.

Unfortunatly I know no players, who would like to play with me (or at least none who would like this kind of game) and I won't buy (just another) game which I'm not going to play (as with so many of my other ones...).

So I were wondering if there are any players in Germany, especially in the region around Frankfurt am Main who are playing or willing to play this game?

You can ask at the German distributor's forum:

Also ask Wolfgang (his nick is thorondor here and in the HDS forum) for his mailing list of (former) AGoT players in your region. It's slightly dated, and most of the players I contacted didn't play anymore or have moved away from my region, but some may be still around. In fact I will meet one next week for my first game and hopefully some more will answer, and I hope to convert some players from my regular RPG group who like the novels, so that we can get a small community running for regular games.

hi killer power!

i am sure i can help you. there are indeed a few players in your region. cotnact me via email at [email protected]

Servus!

I` m from Frankfurt too. And we play here (thogh not in the city itself) regularly.

But why bother with foreign languages... Just use the link and/or the email above!

Yup, we are regulary playing in Giessen or Butzbach, which is indeed not far from Frankfurt. And i think moneylender would definetely meet you for a game or two in Frankfurt.

Anyone else noticed that the old forum feature "Your location" is really missed on these new boards? I was so easy to search players by country on the old boards.

Between there is also a metagame discussion board which is usally reserved for playgroups on these fourm and the best place to find players, though BeardFan is right, it´s definetely worth it to join the heidelberger forum.
