What had been your thoughts ? The pricing seems to be 36 points for all of them, only thing we are lacking are the pilot abilities (which could be really really awesome).

It is kind of hard to make lists when there is still unspoiled information.

Even with the preview of the Scyk we still don't have enough information to actually field it.

It has 3 green dice. One of the ability is the option to do the special K-turn with the 3 hard, instead of the soft 3, that gives plenty of room.

The dial is very likely to be good. What's left to know, aside the pilot abilities left, is how many green maneuvers it will have. For the kind of ship it's likely to have good greens. Of course this is pure speculation, but, even with bad green maneuvers is quite decent.

On paper, it should be a complete killer for large base turrets with its 3 green dice, large hull/shield pool and autothrusters.

My biggest question about it, is if PtL or not, but that really requires the dial to know

Edit -- Stay on target it is. Would prefer Predator on it, but the points don't allow for it, and with the 3 bank K-turns, choosing 3 Whites instead could be an interesting option to then choose which loop you want to do.

Gonna have some games tomorrow using the Firespray dial (it is very likely that this ship is faster, withouth many of the 1's tho), just to playtest a bit how resilient is on the table, and the firepower it is able to dish out. Should be fun.

A 2 ship IG2000 list is an exciting prospect but will largely depend on the pilot abilities. I expect them all to be stellar - like the one we've already seen. I'm hopeful that the two cannon slots will lean towards one of the abilities allowing the ship to make two secondary weapon attacks in one turn with some kind of penalty.

I am thoroughly anticipating playing all 4 in an Epic or Escalation game.

Dont know enough yet about IG-2000 to build a list on or theory craft a build for it yet all I know is that it cost 36pts for all variants of the ship and all the IG-2000pilots share a pilot skill of 6. And I know that im going to purchase two of them and a couple of Scyks

What's the effectiveness of Autothrusters vs Stealth Device?

I'm really REALLY tempted to run a PTL+Sensor Jammer+AT/SD Aggressor alongside a Bodyguard Guri now.

I bet one of the IG88 models' ability is about the 2 cannon slots.

Now that would be nasty. HLC-Mango would just be insane damage, while Ion-Flechette would make your enemy rage-concede XD.

I also feel that it has something to do with the two slots though, but firing both would be extremely hard-hitting and you could field two of that on 100 points both having the ability with HLC-Mangler. The end of Falcon and Decimator lists, hits harder than a phantom or Dash. Okay we can have double HLC on two Scyks for less than that but there you can at least dodge one of them or kill it fast to halve firepower.

We will see. Usually Double Firespray lists fail because of the lack of firepower. IG2000 don't have rear arcs, so even less firepower at the first glance. I'd say firing two cannons is the way of the IG2000. Just like the IG88 models fire 2 blaster rifles at the same time.

With 2 IG2000 then you could have a controll & kill list

Controller: Flechette Cannone, Ion Cannon, AC

Killer: HLC, Mangler, FCS

The IG88 models are linked megalomaniac assasin droids - so this would just fit nicely
