Received my copy in NZ just before Christmas, which I am really pleased about. I'm in the process of going through the rules so that I can start a campaign in the near future.

My question is about the topic title. I have read that both the Imperial and Rebels create their side mission deck, but what does, 'put card *** in play mean? Are the Rebels forced to play this?

Under siege is a story mission. It will be their next story mission after the side mission.

There's always an active story mission. You just follow the order on the campaign log still.
