Tycho - PTL - EI - Daredevil

By Luethar, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hey all I just want to make sure I got this right.....

With this build in regard to his actions Tycho can....

Do an action (Boost)

Push the Limit (Focus), get a stress token.

Then invoke Experimental Interface and use Daredevil to complete a Hard one maneuver then get a second stress token.

Is this correct?

Also can he Boost as his second action?This is not just a Tycho question, but can any pilot that has PTL do two boosts in the same round?

Thanks,

Lue.

Tycho would end up gaining 3 stress tokens. 1 from PTL, 1 from Experimental Interface and 1 from Daredevil.

You are not allowed to do the same action twice in a round with any ship. I don't think we've seen any pilot or upgrade card that can circumvent this as of yet.

1. Tycho doesn't care about Stress when performing Actions.

2. No one can perform the same Action, even if one use is "free", more than once per turn.

3. Note the action allowance of PtL and EI and the triggering conditions.

Tycho with Daredevil or Expert Handling combined with PtL and Experimental Interface can rake up a huge number of stress tokens very quickly.

No, not quite.

You need to trigger EI after the PTL-action, not after PTL-stress.

1) perform action (boost)

2) trigger PTL

3) perform action (focus) from PTL triggered in step 2

4) trigger EI

5) perform action (daredevil) from EI triggered in step 4; this includes one stress token from daredevil

6) gain one stress token from EI triggered in step 4

7) gain one stress token from PTL triggered ins step 2

Or think of it like html tags!

<perform action /> //boost

<PTL>

<perform action /> //focus

<EI>

<perform action /> //daredevil, receive stress

</EI> //receive stress

</PTL> //receive stress

Treybert,

That actually helped.... thanks!
