length of the Victory Class Star Destroyer

By jarmus mrawn, in Star Wars: Armada

I know this has been debated a lot but I'm still wondering how long the VSD is because some people are saying it's 4 inches long while some people have said it's 6 inches long. Now after I saw this photot http://www.crittohit.com/images/resize/w/730/imagestore/articles/8501/fantasy-flight-games-reveals-gen-con56.jpg

It seems to me that the VSD is the same or a little bigger that the VT-49 decimator which is a little over 5.5 inches long so I guess that is about the length of the VSD. Not that I don't have a problem it's just that for the amount of money I'll be paying for the VSD, 4 inches is a little too short in my personal opinion.

Also I forgot too add that if they do make a Imperial Class it would probably come out to be around 10-11 inches long if the VSD is truly 5.5 inches long.

9.7 inches.

More like 8 inches. It's a relative scale.

If you look at the starterset if the lore length increases by 100 percent, the relative model iincreases by 33 percent.

I was just on boardgamegeek.com and I was looking at there info on the the Victory class star destroyer and it said the box is the same exact size as the VT-49 decimator and if I'm guessing correctly that means the Victory class should be the same exact size as the decimator and by looking at this photo. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3881/14803339457_3f8c588da9.jpg

The Star destroyer will be 5.75 inches long. http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/168927/star-wars-armada-victory-class-star-destroyer-expa

This is the link to the website were I got the information.

It's EXACTLY big enough to deal awesome damage to all enemies! ;)

Box size is a decent indicator, but it doesn't mean the exact same size. It should be in the same area though.

As i've said a few times, when I saw it at GenCon it was approximately 5-5.5". So definitely the right ballpark at least.
