Pretty self-explanatory here. What are you bringing with the 42 points left after you install Super Dash in your list? I've tinkered with a few ideas, and I think I've finally found something that sticks, but I wanted to check in with the community here.
Let's hear your suggestions!
What are you running with Super Dash?
I drop his engine upgrade to fit two Golds with ion cannon turrets. They run interference, draw fire and zap higher PS things that like to get in the donut hole.

Interesting concept. You could also get a Rookie X-Wing and Blue B-Wing with FCS in for those points. Do you have trouble maneuvering Dash without the EU?
I haven't ran it yet but im going to try this list
Dash Rendar - 36pt
- Lone Wolf - 2pt
- Outrider - 5pt
- Recon Specialist - 3pt
- Heavy Laser Cannon - 7pt
Corran Horn - 35pt
- Marksmanship - 3pt
- Experimental Interface - 3pt
- Fire Control System - 2pt
- R2-D2 - 4pt
100pt
I ran dash with lone wolf recon spec hlc and the title yesterday with a gold y wing with ion turret and r7t1 and and a green squad pilot with chardaan and outmaneuver. It shredded a tie swarm pretty well but it was rough at first.
I did not have too much trouble moving dash around. His dial is pretty darn good and the barrel roll normally kept me in cannon range. The issue was lone wolf since I kept ending up too close to the other ships.
Think it could've worked out better with running just one other ship instead of 2? Speaking of lone wolf that is
Edited by Moore84I enjoy using 2 Prototypes and a Bandit. The Awings are durable for the price and can keep up with Dash whilst the bandit often ends up living longer and doing more damage than you might reasonable expect. The rebel mini swarm.

It would have been easier to trigger it I believe. But the two ships did really help against the swarm with blocking and soaking up targets. With more practice with dash I can get him a bit farther away
I'm interested in this question, too, mainly because I can't decide what support I like best. Phantom-fears seem to be my common motivating inspiration, though.
An expensive Corran seems like a solid bet. I can never settle on a Corran build I like, though, way too many useful competing options
VI Wes or Wedge plus a Bandit helper is another look I like.
I have one squad with Dash and a fat Horton that feels fun, but a lot is riding on catching the hypothetical Phantom on the first engagement.
I would love to try a buzzsaw Keyan with stay on target, but that 1 agi is killer...he would go down really fast!
The Mangler Cannon is going to remove the 1 weakness in the outrider builds.
Edited by MarinealverMangler cannon will help, but it also cuts down 1 attack die, which can be a huge deal sometimes. I personally would probably stick with the HLC and get 4 dice and make sure to keep out of range 1. The phantoms are really the main issues with range one. Bring a good set of support ships, or ship, and you should be alright.
And I would not say that the only weakness on the outrider is the r1 bubble. As with everything else, there is no perfect ship or perfect list. Something always can counter it. All ships have multiple strengths and weaknesses when closely examined

Or just have Mangler cannon and then say someone like Jan Ors or Opportunist can bump the attack dice number to 4 even if a phantom gets within range 1.
I mean seriously why would anyone not take outrider + mangler cannon on a YT-2400 now? It is a solid firepower increase from 2 to 3 at all ranges. There is no penalties to taking it unlike the 3 others (and the additional one in wave 6).
3-0 at local tournament today. Never lost a ship. Can handle all upcoming changes as well.
Dash Rendar — YT-2400 36
Lone Wolf 2
Heavy Laser Cannon 7
Recon Specialist 3
Outrider 5
Corran Horn — E-Wing 35
Veteran Instincts 1
Advanced Sensors 3
R2-D2 4
Engine Upgrade 4

Did you face any Phantom or Fat Han builds? How did you beat them?
Not today, but Corran eats both with this list. I popped Corran up to ps10 because autothrusters is going to make Soontir extremely common. And he will eat your Dash alive no matter which build you are using. Whisper already counters Dash hard and this Corran expert handles that as well. Vader will be a presence soon. Not a problem with ps10 AS Corran and he will eat any decimator build I can think of.
Once scum drops it'll be a mangler on Dash and Corran will pick up flechette torps.
Corran horn all the way.

Hull upgrade
R2d2
I run a cheaper dash though.
If you want a tank take this. Only died once to vader crew so far.
Excellent suggestions. I've been running two Rookie X-Wings with the 58-point version of Dash. They fill a multitude of roles (as X-Wings always have) and do a pretty good job of covering Dash's blind spots. I'll try to use a couple of these options in the next couple of weeks, just to see if I can get a feel for how they all work.
Dash

Outrider title

3x talas.
97 pts
Not really sure what to spend the last 3 pts on
Keep at 97 for sure initiative bid.
Would like to keep it at 99 the most
The only thing that seems to be the best way to spend the other 3 pts is putting proton rockets on a Tala.
My buddy may also be flying the exact same thing in a upcoming store tournament, so I'm wondering should I take initiative or let him have it.
I think me shooting first would be best, but then again in this case, maybe moving first would also have its benifit
Proton rockets on Dash. It makes his front arc donut hole into quite the opposite.

Agreed. You may go multiple games in a row without ever firing them, but when the opportunity does present itself you'll be thankful you paid for the shot.
I fly Corran (41)
Push the limit - 3
R7-T1 - 3
If you run a slightly cheaper Dash, you could probably squeeze in a FCS. However, 99 should be useful in winning the initiative bid.
With the full 58 Dash I've been Running a naked Chewbacca to some success and have been experimenting with sliding the points balance between the pair of them over the last few weeks.
