Stay on Target talent sheets up

By Doc, the Weasel, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

We just updated the talent sheets to include Stay on Target.

While we were there we also fixed a few errors (thanks to all that sent corrections).

As someone across the pond who won't get her order for another week or two, I salute you sir. Thank you.

You're a wonderful man. Um, weasel.

Europe thanks Doc, the Weasel.

This Toad wholeheartedly agrees! Many thanks

From the land down under...we thank you!

Thanks a lot. My players and I appreciate this.

Spelling correction: Fortified Vacuum Seal on the Rigger talent sheet lists the ability to increase the hill trauma. I am pretty sure it is Hull Trauma, unless hill trauma is a new mechanic in that book.

FFG determined that a new damage track was necessary for vehicles that crash into the ground as that sort of damage is different enough from that caused by blaster fire. Extensive research showed that the most common ground to crash into is hills. Hence the new vehicle stat, Hill Trauma.

;)

Thanks. Fixed.

All three of those look really wicked, though the Beast Rider looks very niche (wouldn't ever take it as my primary specialization). The Hotshot looks fun, and that talent that causes collisions sounds brutal. And Rigger looks like it really expands upon PCs' interactions with their vehicles.

Hey I am looking at the Talent tree to this and I have a question....Does "Larger Project" mean that when you take the talent Signature Vehicle, instead of it being a Sil 3 or less, when you take 2 LPs you can have a Sig Vehic. as a Sil. 4 or 5??

I believe so, yes.

Correct. For each level of Larger Project, the silhouette of your Signature Vehicle increases by 1.

Correct. For each level of Larger Project, the silhouette of your Signature Vehicle increases by 1.
So you basically make your ship able to carry weapons it normally couldn't but evasive maneuvers, stay on target, and punch it are lost at silhouette 5 and higher.

No. For each level of Larger Project, the silhouette of the craft that you can apply Signature Vehicle to is one higher. For example, if you have no levels of Larger Project, the largest vehicle you can pick for your Signature Vehicle is Sil 3. It goes to Sil 4 for one level and Sil 5 for two levels. You are still restricted to the weapons that will fit on the craft so no Light Turbolasers on your X-Wing. :-)

Where does it say you are restricted to silhouette 3 ships?

And if you can't put bigger weapons reserved for larger silhouette ships what's the point of that talent? Larger silhouette make it so you can't do certain maneuvers. What's the point of having a silhouette 5 X-wing if I can't have turbolasers? I would now have an x-wing with the maneuverability of a corvette but with standard weapons.

Also larger silhouette ships are easier to hit. Sorry just trying to understand the pros of this talent.

...if your interpretation of something makes no sense, you may have misinterpreted it. zathras explained how it actually works.

It doesn't actually make your x-wing the size of a corvette :)

All it does is allow you to apply the signature ability to a larger vehicle, otherwise the base ability is restricted to silhouette 3. So one level lets you apply it to a YT1300 or Firespray, and two lets you use it on a corvette. The size and maneuverability of the ship doesn't actually change.

This ability seems to be what makes the Millennium Falcon different from any other modded YT1300.

Gotcha, didn't check page 33 for some reason. Thanks for clarifying
