I got into it from watching THIS. I especially liked Fluttershy's bit. Then i realised that the audio might be a gag dub, but i was still watching a tiny pegasus step up to a huge dragon, and i just had to go watch this series...

I like the irony of someone using a homophobic insult while there's a rainbow around them. That and any decent use of that rant from Tropic Thunder is okay with me.

And Black Knight Leader, the song mostly just hints at things.

Apparently this is supposed to imply mass murder or something. I've never been good at lyric interpretation. Mostly I just find the tone of the song suggests there's something sinister happening which combined with the lyrics could put this song in the horror category. I did find this, a little while ago.

Ive been watching from stuff from ink rose and the bronynotion. It appears a good chunk of the MLP:FIM fanbase are SW fans and or Team Fortress 2 fans.

Also on King of the Nerds one of the contestants is a cosplayer that dresses as Princess Celestia =] Apparently most the cast loves MLP. One of the losers on the show was "killed" by a giant green and pink pony LOL.

Oh and the 5th season trailer is on youtube, looks AWESOME. Also IVE been playing the MLP game, its very sweet, playes kinda like sim city. All the main actresses recorded stuff for it. Its a diffrent universe BUT Nightmare Moon in this universe actully destroyes Ponyviile, runs off 5 of the main 6, and depending on if you unlock Celestia before defeating Nightmare Moon, de-powers Celestia I think since she cant do anything too her.

In this universe Nightmare Moon doesnt destroy the elements of Harmony. Ether way both incarnations of Nightmare Moon are freaking great evil characters.

Two new season 5 trailers are on youtube AND we got leaked unfinished footage of season 5 that shows off one of the new main villains. In short the main villain is Stalin =]

Oh and Dr. Whooves is finally getting a background flesh-out in the 100 ep during seaon 5. The creators of the show follow a lot of the fan made works, this could mean that Dr. Whooves is a Time Lord that accidentally came into the MLP:FIM universe. Wouldn't that bee something...? I would laugh harder if during a Dr. Who ep in which the past Dr. Whos show up they also include Dr. Whooves.

Oh and one last thing. Check out MLP Friends Forever number 14. Princess Luna picks a fight with an adult Red Dragon and she looks more ****** off than the Red Dragon. Shes actually right in its face and looks like shes about to attack it. IM sure C-3P0 would say out loud the odds of surviving a head on attack with a adult Red Dragon, but IM sure Luna would tell him to shut up XD

One word about anypony vs a the red dragon: Fluttershy.

You didn't like King Sombra? Anyway the new main villain, or at least the main villain for the beginning three parter, is female unicorn named "Star Shimmer." She preaches that the things that make people special is the reasons why their is grief and pain in the world, so she uses magic to make everyone equal and happy... Problem is if you don't want to willingly give up what make you special it looks like you will get ganged up on by raging equalist cultists.

What worries me, in a good way because of plot development, is that we see a glimpse in one of the trailers that Rainbow Dash and Pinky ether agree with Star Shimmer and give up their unique qualities, and their cutie marks turn into equal signs like the rest of the cult, or they were forcefully removed. If they did give up what makes them "them" I wonder why they would agree to this equality philosophy. Makes me kinda sad to think Rainbow Dash would give up her talents as the fastest flyer in Equastria. All she loved, besides her friends and family, is her skills as a flyer and being the fastest, being the only one to do a double rainboom, JFYI a double rainboom = mach 5 speed wise. I just cant believe she would give that all up, more than likely it was taken away from her. Which would be devastating to anyone that pilots aircraft or can fly naturally.

If you haven't seen that comic I mentioned, "MLP:FIM Friends forever # 14" you need to ASAP. Fluttershys got nothing on Princess Luna =] You should post a image of the cover IM talking about so everyone can see it, just so you know though theirs two different versions, one has Luna and Spike dressed up as detectives, which is the one IM not talking about.

I liked King sombra: dude was awesome! I just didn't like seeing him getting blown up.

All the other major villains got another part on the show after their defeat:

Nightmare moon: got turned back into Luna but she can still asume her nightmare moon form.

Discord: honorary member of the mane six by the end of season 4.

Queen chrysalis: Got the Team Rocket ending but can still return.

I could be wrong but after seeing another season 5 sneak peak it looks like her abilitIes were taken from her without her doing it willingly. She goes to fly and she looks shocked at how slow she is. She looked to me to be slower than fluttershy.

Discord in a unfinshed clip looks to be the royal announcer for Celestia. Which means he's going to passivly troll the hell out of every person that comes too the Sisters Castle. LOL

I was right about Star Glimmer just not her name LOL Season 5 seems too be pretty good although I felt the first ep could have been better.

Yeah i havent completly watched it yet, but to me it lacked a big bad like Nightmare moon, Discord and Kibng Sombra. That cult of no cutie marks is just sad and creepy. Reminds me of that MLP videogame: Story of the Blanks.

Applejack has it rough, in S2 she finaly gets an her own episode and she gets completly overshadowed by Derpy and Pinky Pie.

I thought Season Four was really very good for her. So far Season Five has been fun.

MLP:FiM is a strong, fun show. Good morals and role models for kids, and plenty of humor for adults.

And the fanbase can be pretty fun sometimes, if you look in the right places.

The fandom can be fun. There was a fic I like but I think the author died. Pretty saddening.

I like how the characters don't Always learn from their own shows morals.

In lesson zero the rest of the mane six promise that the next time Twilight starts getting all anctious and nervous they won't brush it off as nothing. Fast forward to a Canterlot wedding an it's "Oh Twilight, you are just seeing things!" LOL.
