Just needing some specific fluff advise for psykers.

1. Can a Psyker detect other psykers, ones that are not currently using any powers ?

2. If a Psyker can detect another psyker who is curently not using any powers, can he tell the difference between a psyker and sorcerer ?

3. Can a psyker tell the difference between a psyker and a sorcerer using the same power ? (for arguments sake assume the sorcerer is using sublime arts and is not waving his hands around talking strange)

4. Is there any way to hide the fact you are a psyker and/or sorcerer ?

1. Psyniscience allows for this in its description, so yes, if they pass the test (which may be more or less difficult if the Psyker in question is masking their power.

2. I would argue it would depend how well he rolls on psyniscience. Personally if the Psyker rolled two degrees of success or more, I'd say they'd at least notice the massive taint on the individuals soul from the sorcery.

3. Once again, depends on the psyniscience roll. If nothing else, I might argue a Psyker could at least tell the Sorcerer's powers were far more malign than his own.

4. Although the Core rulebook does not offer much information on this Ascension brings in Fettering, which, among other more broken elements, makes a Psyker's use of powers harder to detect. Personally I would allow a Psyker to make a Willpower based Concealment test or something like that, to attempt to mask their power from opposing Psyker's trying to sniff them out, but as far as RAW is concerned, not to my knowledge.

Also, note that precise answers, like insanity point or curruption points numbers can be known by a psychic power called "Soul sight" in the Divination discipline. You have to generate some degrees of succes to peer that much into someone's mind, though.

I know of nothing in RAW either that would help a psyker hide that fact then don't use powers and if you're sanctioned hide your brand.
