Storage

By daddystabz, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I am wondering how you all are storing the parts for the game. Any guidance, pics or vids would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for ideas.

Thanks in advance!

Step one pitch the insert. Step two lots of bags. For now everything fits withroom to spare even if it is a bit of a mess.

I see foam core in my future.

On the advice of others in this forum I purchased two of the Plano 23780-00 Deep Stowaway Boxes from Amazon for $14.98ea (See Link Below). They fit everything perfectly, very good purchase. Next I will purchase a 3 ring binder with plastic inserts and numbered labels to hold the board pieces.

Medium baggies and a creative options bead box from Walmart, three 400 count storage boxes from BCW

Also going to try to make foamcore trays in the style of The esoteric order of gamers

I've made 2 layers in foam core cardboard.

The height of the bottom layer is equal to the width of a regular card box and the two boxes holds the campaign cards and skirmish cards respectively. The small insert contains supply cards, condition cards and command cards for easy leaf through. And there's room for the AT-ST, the largest tiles and my tokens box.

The box insert:

The top layer holds the smaller tiles and all the mini figs and the rules fits on top in some small cut out notches:

Hmm, usually I'm a big fan of BattleFoam's products but not so sure about this one. The allocated token slots is gonna make it a pain to grab the tokens

But I like the figure tray. Think I'm gonna wait til they either make a 432/216 insert and/or make a custom foam insert myself

Using a large Plano tackle box and a Plano insert that holds all the mini cards nicely and can be stored inside the tackle box. Bought them both at Dicks Sporting Goods for $28. Throw some Star Wars stickers on the outside of the tackle box and you have yourself a pretty nice carry case. I use the original box to hold the tiles and books in.
