so if I reveal a red move then use advance sensors and push the limit would I be able to move as I would already have a stress?

No, if you use advanced sensors and Ptl before you reveal your maneuver, then you will be stressed at the time you reveal your red maneuver, so your enemy gets to choose a new maneuver for you.

For clarification to this, you use Advanced Sensors before you reveal your dial.

So remember to prepare for that as well.. maybe a green maneuver if you PtL before you make that move. Nothing like stressing out then doing a green move so you can stress out again next turn..

IF you have Stress a Red Maneuver can not be done as your opponent would get to pick something else.

Incredibly rarely, your chosen red maneuver would be disastrous, and you can use Adv S and PTL to get into a better position.

This is more likely used to bail out of a red 1.
