bad batch lately?

I went and brought my own chrissy toys this year the yt2400 an rebel transport set..found the yt mounting lug at the base of the model was seriously taking the piss. the model ended up facing 270 degs the wrong way and looking to nose dive. looks like I'm going to have to dig out the old 40k tools to repair. anyone else had similar issue? anyone tried a magnet for the yt?

Why not just contact the retailer - they're obliged to replace it if it's faulty

It's been pretty common that the Wave 5 female ends haven't been tight enough (please - no salacious comment), and this has caused them to drop the bases when picking them up by the models. I'll be painting the inside of it on my Decimator to tighten it up a bit.

But what you're dealing with sounds a bit beyond this regular problem.

Well geez, you don't have to be rude!

Who let the Kowakian monkey-lizard in here??

The female part on my Defender was loose, as well. Beware stress givers and loose female Defender connectors?

Curse you, you libertine.

This leads me to question the legitimacy of your parentage, sir.

You cut me to the quick, ruffian. I must defend my good name and honor.

Ten paces at dawn!

Just fix it with a Magnet!

I have a YT and a Deci, and they both are loose also.I will probably bite the bullet and glue the one stem into the model itself.

Wut? What's a "chrissy toy"? Your YT2400 was urinating? You might want to see a doctor about that.

How did you all go about fixing the loose peg attachment on the Outrider? I considered glueing the peg to the ship, but that won't work well with my current storage system.

A long time ago Heroclix had flight pegs that never fit. I would cut a small piece of paper, and push the peg in with the paper slipping in between the male and female ends. Not sure if it would work here or not but worth a try.

Take the male end, put a thin layer of super glue on it, after the glue dries test the fit, if still loose repeat.

You can also use the stand & peg from an Epic ship. For some reason they still fit snugly on the defective batch of connectors.
